Each model comes with a unique NFC tag that identifies the user and qualifies them for the exclusive free mainnet airdrop. Delivery of your package is guaranteed within a maximum of 60 days.

But what exactly is a Metal Box?

The Metal Box is an open-source and customizable physical REVO validator node. It comes pre-configured and is plug-and-play, allowing for easy setup. The device is expandable at any time and is equipped with storage for Virtual Datacenter functionality, including storage sharing and mining.

What about the Physical Node?

Physical nodes are designed to support the decentralization of REVO's Ecosystem. These plug-and-play devices have low power consumption (maximum 4 Watts) and can be placed anywhere without specific network requirements or space limitations. You can connect them to the network via cable or WiFi. Physical devices are already designed for disk space expansion, which can be shared to support the network through storage mining.

WiFi or Ethernet?

For network stability reasons, it is recommended to connect devices directly via an Ethernet cable. All versions come with an internal micro-antenna for WiFi connection. However, if a wireless connection is required, the addition of the appropriate antenna is mandatory.

How does the airdrop work?

Once you sign up, you'll receive a package containing an RVO resin coin delivered to your home or office. Inside the coin, you'll find an NFC tag and a set of instructions. This coin is personal and non-transferable. The airdrop is randomly sent from a public smart contract code after enrolling your NFC access key on the node dashboard.

The decision to distribute a set of initial nodes was not taken lightly or for commercial purposes, especially since REVO is still in its early stages and not yet available on exchanges.
